This place is delicious! We had a Peruvian dish (Lomo Saltado with chicken) and some empanadas. All was so good. The chicken and vegetables had a ton of flavor and were perfectly cooked. The dining area and bathroom were clean and clutter free. The staff was helpful explaining the menu and treating us like welcomed guests. Don’t hesitate to get take out or dine in at this hidden gem!

I had a great experience here. The owner, Brendan, was helpful and welcoming. I ordered a 1/4 dark meat chicken with pinto beans and white riceβ€”the food came out quickly, and I could tell from the first bite it was high-quality. I also grabbed a beef empanada to go. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a quick stop without sacrificing quality.

I am Peruvian ???????? and since I arrived in this city I was dying to eat a roasted chicken. I told a coworker and he recommended this restaurant (ROCOTO) and now it is my favorite place. I love the rotisserie chicken ( POLLO A LA BRASA) it is very delicious, juicy, with golden skin, with its yucca, cream, etc. and also the staff is very friendly… SON CHΓ‰VERES … My only complaint would be, please we need more chicha morada

We stopped in around 2pm on a Tuesday and were greeted and seated with no water, from the time our order was taken it was about a 15 to 20 minute wait. The portions were more than adequate. The food was put on its plates displayed perfectly. The smell and the taste was outstanding. The cost was well with in reason for the amount of food.

Transparently this was my first time having Peruvian chicken so I can't speak to the authenticity. I ordered the half chicken meal and was a little taken aback by the price. But there was enough for two meals so I was OK with it. The chicken was excellent. Super juicy and flavorful. Would definitely recommend. The beef empanada was also quite good. The black beans were very bad. No flavor at all so would definitely skip those.

Such a great little place with some amazing food, hard to find flavors elsewhere nearby. Their Empanadas (especially the beef!) are very flavorful. Their Empanadas food was prepared fresh and served hot. The staff was friendly and helpful. They recommended the black beans and I must say they were some of the best black beans ever! We’ll be back for more as Rocoto had something every family member enjoyed.

My family had a wonderful time here! Our visit was actually so fast for a sit down restaurant. We ordered six empanadas and the manager brought them out a few minutes after paid. After we were done eating the manager checked on us. We were so hungry and appreciative of the good food and nice people there.

Stopped by for a quick bite and got the Lomo Saltado with beef. Arrived quickly and was hot, fresh and flavorful. Tender beef, tasty steak. I'd highly recommend getting a side of their hot sauce which looks to be house made. Will return again.
